My name is Renae Satre, I'm a reading intervention teacher at Monroe Elementary. My job is to help students catch up on certain reading skills they may be missing. We have different resources available to help with this, but the most important way for a student to catch up on reading skills is to read, read, read! It's also very important to maintain reading skills by reading everyday outside of school. Parents are a child's first teacher. Please be sure your child is spending quality time at home reading, and they see you spending time reading. Newspapers, web pages, recipes, directions, maps, etc... all count as good reading.
If you would like to contact me, you can reach me in my classroom at 507-207-5649 between 7:30-3:20. Please leave a message and I'll return your call as soon as I can. You can also send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
