Changes to the 2017/2018 McEducator Night
McDonalds is changing the McEducator program. It will now be called McTeacher Night. The program is similar to before, with the main difference being the number of nights we host the program. Instead of 6 separate nights per year, we will have 2 nights per year.
The McTeacher program is an established program with McDonalds that provides McDonalds the means to offer more support to Monroe and enhancements to the program; including an increased percentage of sales from the event.
Kids will be served free ice cream cones each night by Monroe faculty!
WHERE: McDonald’s on HWY 169
WHEN: 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on November 6 and April 9. Watch for reminders in the Tuesday folders.
WHO: All students, their family and friends! Each McEducator Night is a chance for students to contribute toward their grade's total number of receipts! Customers simply write the grade that they want the receipt to go to and turn them in.
The grade with the most receipts at the end of the year will receive an ice cream party compliments of McDonalds Hwy 169 (Party takes place at Monroe the last week of the school year). There is a receipt tally poster in the hallway by the cafeteria so the kids can see the progress.
WHY: TO EARN MONEY FOR THE MONROE PTO! The Monroe PTO receives a percentage of in-store receipts that are turned in during the evening. The PTO uses these funds for things like fieldtrips, playground equipment, technology items and more! Students can also put their name in a drawing to win lunch with Mr. Johanson and other prizes and it’s a FUN and EASY way to earn money for our GREAT school!
Please mark your calendars - The 2017/2018 dates are:
