It is my honor and joy to serve as the Principal of Monroe Elementary and be a part of the broader Mankato Area Public Schools (MAPS) community. As a proud native of North Mankato and a graduate of MAPS, leading and supporting the very community that shaped me is deeply meaningful.

I hold both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Minnesota and earned my specialist degree in educational administration from Minnesota State University, Mankato. I currently reside in North Mankato with my daughter, and we enjoy watching movies, going for walks, visiting parks, and spending time with our extended family.

Our staff is highly trained, dedicated, and passionate about meeting the needs of all learners through inclusive, engaging, and future-focused educational experiences.
